Free webinars during COVID-19 shutdown
Workshops hosted by Professional Development Services in the next couple of weeks have been postponed, so our PDS staff has created a series of free webinars that educators can join to brush up on their skills while students are away.
C.E.S. Innovation and Technology Specialist Jacquelyn Whiting will be hosting the webinars and educators can watch online via a computer, smartphone or tablet. You can join by voice or video to watch her live-streaming presentations. Chat functions are also available so visitors can type questions or comments in real time. Jacquelyn will be talking with you and providing live screen-sharing to give you visuals during the webinar.
Joining a webinar is simple. Just visit, then click Webinars to see a list of what's scheduled. Click the webinar you want to join to read a summary and scroll to the bottom for a link that will lead you into the webinar.
This is a great opportunity and valuable use of time while schools are closed. Enjoy and be safe!

In addition, check the app for Office Hours, which are open Q&A sessions for educators to bring questions to a discussion format with a PDS facilitator and other educators.
