|Dr. Michael Regan|
Director of Special Education
The Center for Clinical Excellence provides the school district practitioner with direct access to high quality, clinical supervision on an individual and/or small group basis in an effort to improve learning outcomes for students through enhanced clinical service delivery. For district's that already provide discipline specific clinical supervision, the Center also provides peer mentoring and group supervision as a viable means of ensuring sufficient opportunities for professional growth and development for the district supervisor.
What services are offered?
The overarching goal of the Center is to afford school districts throughout the region access to high-quality clinical supervision services. This is accomplished by providing the following services:
Clinical supervision of building-based practitioner and/or their clinical supervisor. Center staff will provide the district with an end-of-year summary of supervision for each practitioner.
Professional development in various aspects of clinical supervision including such topics as ethical issues and improving practice through clinical supervision.
