Students create 'out of the box' box art

A box is much more than just a box in a child's imagination. Students in Room 1 recently read the book "Not a Box" by Antoinette Portis, about a rabbit who appears to be sitting in a regular box, but that box becomes many things in his imagination — a race car, a rocket ship, a building, and so much more. Students, along with their families, followed the crafty rabbit's lead and turned boxes at home to turn into fun art projects. You can see in the photos all the great ideas their imaginations came up with. You can see they really thought "out of the box" with their boxes. Great job!
