Educators unpack Illustrative Math curriculum

Teachers, coaches and administrators filled two of the training rooms at C.E.S. for the second day of an Illustrative Math program. One room was filled with Norwalk educators while the other represented districts from around the region. The program featured the Illustrative Math curriculum for Grades 6-8 being unpacked as teachers began their understanding of the routines, student expectations, teacher roles, creating norms, and lesson planning. The program was overseen by Erin Barlow, a Math Instructional Specialist in the Professional Development Services department at C.E.S.
