The Family Center is committed to nurturing the development of healthy children and families by:
*strengthening links between family, school and community resources
*encouraging family involvement and family literacy
*providing a family friendly play space for adults and children
*offering informational and referral services
*providing a lending library of parenting materials and family activities
*hosting free parenting workshops
*individual parenting consultation based on the families interests
For Families with Children Birth through Age 3:
Drop-in play groups provide a wonderful opportunity for caregivers and children to interact with others in a rich learning environment. Drop-in playgroup (no enrollment necessary) are from 8:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and give a caregiver and child a chance to participate in free play, snack time, and songs. They will resume on Thursday September 6, 2012 and take place every Thursday on the school schedule. Join Us!
